Full Lips In Five
Let’s face it…the winter got the best of our lips but there's no need to pout (woah, two puns in one sentence)!
This DIY lip scrub and stimulator will get rid of any dead cells and rush the blood flow into your lips.
You will need:
½ teaspoon of Vasoline or Petroleum Jelly
¼ teaspoon of refined sugar
1/8 teaspoon of cinnamon
A container to store your lip scrub
Make sure to mix the ingredients together until you get a paste and apply the scrub to your lips. Rub the paste in circular motions with your finger or smooth it together with your lips. After one to two minutes of scrubbing, take the scrub off with a damp cloth.
Fun fact: Cinnamon acts as a natural stimulator by bringing blood to the surface of the skin and causing minor swelling. This acts as an easy and affordable plumper.
Another easy way to stimulate your lips is by using a toothbrush. After brushing your teeth, rinse and dry off your brush. Make circular motions with your brush all over your lips.
Now your lips are healthy and smooth and still beautiful!
I thought I'd take it a step further with a limp pumping product by FullLips.
Warning: DO NOT over use the enhancer. Start off slowly and get your lips used to the system. Over plumping can cause bruising on and around the lips. Be cautious and respectful to your lips.
Start with clean lips. Lip moisturizers will lessen the suction and cause the device to slide around your lips.
Place the lip enhancer onto your lips. Pucker up inside the device and suck. You should feel the device pulling onto your lips; this is normal.
If it is your first time using Fullips, make sure to do short suctions: about 10 to 15 seconds. Once you are used to the device and your lips are comfortable add on time.
When your lips are plumped to your liking, moisturize with a menthol based lip balm or lip plumping lip gloss for longer-lasting results. You can also outline your lips with concealer and blend it in. This will enhance the look of your lips and make them look extra plumped!
The Fullips Enhancer does not give permanent results. Your lips will be looking healthy and plumped for about four hours.
