February is the time of year when, where I am from (Canada), the air is still nippy, windy, and rough.
February is the time of year when, where I am from (Canada), the air is still nippy, windy, and rough. We are teased as the temperature rises some days, just to drop back down. It is so easy to look forward to the spring season for its accountable and recurring activities - That is what we admire and expect from spring. With all of this change, it isn't fun when everyone around us begins to get sick from the changes in weather. Here are some precautions and tips to get you through undefeated… or to help you if you’ve been defeated.
Avoidance:
Carry a hand sanitizer with you… but also a hand cream to counterbalance the dryness it will inflict upon your digits.
DO NOT touch your face this time of year. It spreads germs to your sinus region.
Get your rest to keep your body strong. When you are tired, your body does not function at full capacity, and will allow for more germs to attack.
Eat healthier. A balanced diet of proper vegetables, vitamins, proteins and good fats are essential to the full functioning of your body and immune system.
If you are sick:
Relax. Stop any responsibilities that can afford to be put on hold for a little while - there is no need to be overworking yourself when your body is clearly screaming.
Take a bath, have some tea, colour or watch some Netflix!!! Self-love is a great cure. Wonderful cure.
Kindly ask a loved one to make you soup
In addition, follow the “avoidance” suggestions.
